I've farmed quite a bit for couch potatoes, IDK what other people's strategies are but personally I got some of mine from overnight AFK farming troubled warriors (getting like 4-10 in an 8 hour stretch) and some from overnight AFKing prickly cactus in Caravan with life immunity on a death, which was significantly better rates.

Farm enough gold and buy 69 prickly bear cactus seeds (2400 gold at krok vendor, or possibly cheaper at bazaar).
