In March, 1999, the Sternberg Museum of Natural History re-opened it's doors in a large, new facility. The new museum is a wonderful mixture of the many spectacular (and unique) exhibits that were once housed in McCartney Hall on the campus of Fort Hays State University, and many new, state-of-the-art re-creations of prehistoric life.
