Once you've selected Threads of Fate, you'll be instructed to pick any of the four Covenants for your character and choose which zone you want to continue your adventure in.

What i usually do is the story until about 58-59 depending on what class and then do threads of fate while spamming a few dungeons to go faster. so i can skip all the RP and hit 60 asap. My thoughts, if you are a Heal/Tank. Do Threads of fate so you can do dungeons. Depends on how you define worse. ToF lets you AFK in Oribos and spam dungeons to level, which is infinitely better than questing, whether you wait 1 minute in the queue or 30. For me, leveling speed is secondary. I don’t want to quest. The Threads of Fate Campaign skip in Shadowlands is no longer available for leveling or max-level characters. Any characters who have already chosen Threads of Fate prior to Dragonflight will be able to finish it. However, characters who never initiated Threads of Fate will be restricted only to the zone-by-zone Covenant campaign for Shadowlands.

NordWitcher • 2 yr. ago. The trick with threads of fate is to ignore the bonus objectives. Not only does the progress bar fill slowly it’s just a “grind” to kill mobs. What you want to focus on instead are solely and exclusively side quests. You get 2-3% for simply turning in fetch quests. That adds up really quickly.
