It does have a weak sense of progression compared to some other roguelikes, but it's the little things it does that make it enjoyable for me. Like how accuracy is always a base 100% chance to hit, as opposed to the first game where it starts out average/low and you have to find ways to buff it (and even then you might still miss!)

If a character relies heavily om Bleed for example (Flag), then don't take them to Ruins, and maybe not Cove either. If a character relies on blight, they won't be able to blight well in Weals/Warrens.
