Reddit analog community
Hello Analog Community! I am ready to upgrade my OM-10 but not quite ready to afford a Leica M. I am looking for a rangefinder, 35mm, similar size than a Leica M6, ideally with a Leica M mount but that’s not a must. I have looked at some Voigtländer cameras but was wondering if you guys had any other recommendations?

The Adams books are too much to digest for someone who is new to film, imo. Agree with u/MrTidels on any of the Hedgecoe books, there are several, they're all good for immediate learning and general picture taking. And John Shaw. But when i tried it out, i soon realized that the lens doesnt capture that far, the pictures became blurry at f2.8 even when i set the focus at infinity. It may seem that there is no reason to still do so when there's digital. Many may claim that it's still around because there's some "hipster movement" around film photography. People just do it to be cool. I think that there are quite a few reasons to still shoot analog. I also think that each person will have slightly different reasons. Aperture-priority and the XR-P and XR-M have special metering for back-lit scenes. Cost around 40-60€ when at Photo stores on eBay (Germany) Minolta. First I used the last few frames off of a roll to figure out how far off my vision was from what the lens sees, and then remember that factor when shooting.
