The kids would probably enjoy Pinnacle Peak more due to the tie cutting and the atmosphere of Trail Dust Town. To me, Pinnacle Peak is known more for its steaks and El Corral more for its prime rib. El Corral has a tamale pie side dish which I love. It is really a corn and chili casserole topped with cheese (not a tamale) but very tasty.
