This scale of 17 items measures parents’ sense of competence in their parental role across two dimensions: their satisfaction and efficacy. The present study used the total score of this scale representing parents’ sense of competence. Parents respond to a 6-point Likert-type scale ranging from strongly agree (1) to strongly disagree (6).
