The first boss in Kara drops a mount. The Eye of Eternity is easily soloable in 10s and drops two mounts. There's Reins of the Raven Lord off Setthek Halls (5-man) in Heroic, and White Hawkstrider off the last boss at Magister's Terrace (5-man) in Heroic. With decent gear many classes can solo Alysrazor in Firelands 10-man for the mount.
