May 8, 2022 · P0340 - Testing a CPS (Cam Position Sensor) So I ordered a Hitachi CPS as I got a P0340 code. When changing the CPS, the connector broke. So I changed both the connector and the CPS. After doing so, and clearing the fault code, the SES (Service Engine Soon) and SLIP light still come on. I went to return the Hitachi, and they offered another one.
