Mosasaurus hoffmanni is the biggest Mosasaur fossil ever found. Scientists estimate that it was about 39-42 feet long, but could get up to 57 feet! It weighed 2200 lbs. or more. Its size is comparable to that of the Megalodon, a well-known, giant prehistoric shark believed to have lived about the same time.
