Yep, just did a quick comparison. The only situation when using a legendary core gives you more endo for leveling a rare mod is if you already have a r9 legendary mod vs a rare r0 mod. Lol. No, they're not as expensive as primed mods to max. A rare r10 mod costs 30000 endo to max, and a legendary r10 mod costs 40000. Considering on pc the price of a legendary core is more than the price of any maxed primed mod i'd say have it evaluated on the PS4 market.
