Jun 1, 2023 · Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh (HARP) and Animal Friends are jointly hosting their first ever “Adopt Local, Yinz” weekend. On Saturday, June 3 and Sunday, June 4, the region’s two largest animal welfare organizations are waiving adoption fees for adult animals (6 months or older) to encourage adoptions of pets that are being cared for at the three shelters.
