I've used this build probably around 30 times and every single time Devour is the first to be broken. The total time necessary to cleanse/bless a totem is around the length of a single chase, assuming they don't have Counterforce, if not shorter (depending on the survivor being chased). Definitely not useless, just doesn't send notifications anymore. Idea: let the killer pick up a hex perk and hold it on them if they have thrill of the hunt, then place it on a dull totem. While they have it it can't gain tokens and it doesn't apply it's affect. Possibly can't work with undying. Yep.
