Alternatively, grab the synoid helicor from suda, or the regular helicor from simaris and melee to your hearts content. Go to a deimos capture, run around with the scanner out and look for kavats. You can also do a deimos survival, find kavats in the spawn room and get them, but I dont like having to stay for 5 minutes for that.

Oxylus "scan matter" mod is useless and needs to be changed. Scan matter doesn't sound right for what it does. What it should do instead of resource container, is auto scan collectible plants. Later DE can add some plants in Cetus or Fortuna to craft items. By putting it at the cap you've trivialized the sentinel.
