I played a full Lone Wolf playthrough on Tactician with my SO in DOS:EE. It is absolutely viable and we broke the hell out of the game later. I used an archer and they were the wand/shield mage. The most important early ability you want is the spider summon. That thing is dope while you get all your skills in order.A well place charm arrow, your archer returning with all his cooldowns gone, or leveling up a bit can make fights a breeze. Buffs, buffs, buffs. Oath of desecration requires level 1 witchcraft and gives a whopping 40% damage boost. Combine this with a hasten effect and your most powerful skills for ultimate wrecking.I'm actually doing a Lone Wolf Sparkmaster build with a friend who is an Elementalist. I had the same problem in that my single target damage was awful but the spark damage was amazing. There were MANY situations when I would attack one enemy in melee an a different FULL HEALTH enemy would die to sparks while my target is relatively fine.W ith the release of Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition on both PC and console, some changes have come to the game. One of the biggest ones was to the Torturer Talent, which now allows for certain Status Effects to be applied on top of Armour. This change impacts Magic Builds far more that Physical ones, because it affects Burning, Poisoned, and Necrofire.1 point in Hydro, for Frost armour and healing. 1 point in Geo, for Fortify armour. Maybe Aerothurge for Teleport and Nether Swap; helps with positioning. That's about it. If you want to be extra tanky, use a shield and don't be Undead. Also, craft a cleanse wounds skill book by combining a cheap Hydro and Warfare book together. Necro is okay ...Starting a new Lone Wolf playthrough solo. I'd like to start a new and final playthrough of Divinity: Original Sin II in order to play a complete opposite avatar character in comparison to my two previous efforts, fully enjoy the stories of both Lohse and Sebille and unlock some achievements. Lone Wolf is a talent in Divinity: Original Sin 2. Tips Lone Wolf only functions when you are solo or have one companion. Makes a balanced stat build more viable Picture of Health is a good second talent choice for any build that plans to reach maximum Warfare, as you'll get the maximum possible vitality bonus from it.Chloroform (Scoundrel 1) can force enemies to sleep, while Raise Bloated Corpse (Necromancy 1) can summon a minion that may explode into a puddle of blood in command. Lastly, Mosquito Swarm ...Sebille necro because of flesh sacrifice and elemental affinity plus good source skill to break any status effects. Necro Lone Wolf with Hydro, Pyro and a little bit of others just for skills plus item bonuses is very op once you get more skills. Fane can be a hobo and just 1shot everyone with all the empty barrels inside barrels inside a chestAeolus451 4 years ago #4. I'm using a lone wolf duo of a necro mage/melee and a necro ranger/summoner. You don't have to go crazy with source skills. Summoner is powerful but you have to use compatible infusions with what you're going for and have 10+ summoning. Summon on blood then use power or shadow infusion.I suggest you get : - teleport. - 2 mobility spells. - adrenaline, - frostarmor, fortify, uncanny evasion. - chameleon cloak (absolutely op solo- use adrenaline first and make a long move ended by cc and stay invisible the next one with lower ap) The rest is really up to you.Lone wolf is nowadays better in early game, because you can level up your main abilities and attributes much faster; In the late game lone wolf is weaker because point caps. You can't level your main attribute over 40 points and when you reach it other's doesn't help your as much, so normal characters catch up. #11.Due to the Nerf lone wolf got, around end game lone wolf characters will be more or less equal to normal builds if you don't plan right. On average a normal end game character will reach level 21 meaning you'll be able to max out 2 abilities, gear excluded. Each build type usually gets its power boosts from 2-3 abilities and the attribute points.

Mate, soling Tactician with Lone Wolf is ez mode (well build). 2x Lone Wolfs is walk in the park. My tactician solo Rogue is one-shotting every boss. As for splitting damage- you are much much much better with 2x physcial damage builds. Just make sure once can do at least decent elemental damage when needed. The AI hates walking through poison, fire, and oil. You'll be surprised at how many turns they just skip in favor of trying to navigate danger zones. I use summons, totems, oil, and teleport skills to force enemies to spend as much time as possible in dangerous, impeding surfaces, enduring various elemental attacks and damaging status effects. For a lone-wolf, purely physical two handed crit build, you'd definitely want to max it out along with warfare. It's also great for melee staff builds because warfare is useless for those. two handed is one of the only ways to improve your attack damage with a staff outside of intelligence and your elemental school of choice.by Lost Sinner. ★ Sellsword Build for non-Origin Human or Undead Human. The Summoner of Sparks uses a mix of Summoning, Warfare and Pyrokinetic Skills in order to deal both Fire and Physical Damage. I don't know why, but the abilities just interest me. :) Starting the game over since my current Lone Wolf run is messed up. Polymorph seems fun to me for RP reasons, but I don't want to choose RP and end up with mechanical issues. I know there's the Metamorph class in character generation, but in my ...This was about a 7/10 for the most effective. Another dual mage I did was an aero/hydro support (they used teleport and netherswap among other things to make enemies lives awful. For this build you want to shoot for 10 points into Warfare and 2 in Necromancer. You can of course add more points into Necromancer to increase your healing, but none past 2 are needed for ...Lastly, if you really like this Build, consider trying it out in Lone Wolf, because it works AMAZING. Having 6 AP per turn makes this Build even more effective because: 1) you'll hardly notice the 1 AP to swap Weapons and 2) you'll churn through Skills much faster, making the additional Skills much more noticeable against other Warrior or ...Melee 2H: Good CC through knockdown - Devourer Set + Falone with around 2,3k basic attack damage and above 100% crit chance. Your friend is not forced to take it but it is advised if this is your 1st playthrough, Lone Wolf basically compensates for the lack of other teammates. Glass Cannon can work as well (on 4 man runs too), but you have to know what you're doing otherwise it will be painful journey ...

On paper though I think archer still outclass mages single target wise. Not only do they get multiplier bonuses from max Finesse and Huntsman, but also max Warfare (and crit multiplier from max Scoundrel if Lone Wolf), and last but not least 5% bonus damage per 1m distance to target with Ballistic Shot, which you can use 2-3 times each battle.

I wish it worked better, but I have the hardest time working Necromancy into my builds and my teams, because it's so inherently limited, both by nature and by the implications of min-maxing with Warfare. I understand you. To be honest, I don't even play full necromancer in a 4 man party (but it can work), I prefer to use it for a solo lone wolf.DOS 2 Lone Wolf Builds I want to start a lone wolf playthrough on normal difficulty but im not sure on what builds will be good when there are only 2 characters. From personal experience, if you're playing on tactician, go with two man party (lone wolves) and if you want the bets story experience those two characters should be Lohse and Fane. However, if its your first playthrough it's probably better to go with 4 origin characters on classic difficulty. Just my 2 cents. On lone wolf anything can work but warfare/hydro doesn't have much synergy on it's own. Plus hydro isn't all that amazing as a stand alone element due to it's low damage.
