Freedomsmith trigger

I installed 3 Freedomsmith triggers and those things are almost Noooooo pretravel . I used the FS in my whiteout for a few USPSA matches and it's definitely a noticeable difference !!! A few rounds got away from me, but that's just because I wasn't accustomed to the near NO PRETRAVEL that they have .

Jan 2, 2020. #3. I have an XDM 10mm that wouldn’t fire just yesterday. Not sure of course if our problems are the same. My pistol cocked indicator was normal and a trigger pull released the firing pin but firing pin wouldn’t make contact with the primer. The tab wasn’t getting activated to allow the firing pin to make contact with primer.I watched a video of Frank Wu replacing the trigger with a FreeedomSmith trigger and it looked pretty straight forward. Then I went to the FreedomSmith website and what I read there kind of worried me about doing the upgrade myself and they suggest having a gunsmith do it and that some alterations may be required on the Fat Daddy trigger. So shit! This trigger has a narrowed face with beveled sides and smoothed edges all around. Gold color with a black colored heavy duty safety lever. The trigger resets, that's not the issue, the gun shoots. The issue is that the striker is not resetting when you rack the slide while holding down the trigger. The striker ONLY resets if the slide is racked WITHOUT holding the trigger.  · On my digital gauge, it measures 5# 4oz trigger pull. I put the same Galloway springs in my Rival. With the stock trigger (and Galloway springs), it measured 4# even. Install is a pain in the ass like the other commenter mentioned so I just had a gunsmith do it for 30 bucks. Definitely recommend the champion but no direct experience with fat daddy.
