I run an elemental build with Dawn Chorus and Sunshot that's pretty sick. Sunshot causes enemies to explode with solar energy, which the DC greatly enhances, leading to some pretty huge kill chains. Run Explosive Wellmaker along with it and it's pretty damn solid. I don't hesitate to use it on higher end activities. 1.
