Community champions

Community Champions Program. We developed the Community Champions program to show appreciation for those who serve the communities we live in. When used with eligible programs, our community champs will have their appraisal fee waived and, in some instances, even more!

Community Champions are people from across the Rochdale Borough who make a positive difference by helping others. They are real people, men and women of all ages and backgrounds who have the time, commitment and skills to offer support. Some have professional backgrounds and use those skills as a volunteer.Foundation Grants. The Asda Foundation supports small, grass roots organisations in several ways throughout the year. Working with Asda’s Community Champions in store, we are able to work with a range of organisations and groups on a variety of local community projects.
