Holy S**t, the Black Knight Halberd. So as a longtime fan I knew the BKH was the weapon of choice for speedrunners, but I was never interested in that and my favorite weapon was the great scythe, also accessible from the early game. So I finally did a run where my first objective was to grab the BKH.
The Demons Spear has C/C scaling and some innate (non-scaling) lightning damage. The Pike has a D in strenght when upgraded, as does the Partizan. The Halberd is an extremely good weapon (like most halberd class weapons) and it's useful for a variety of builds. If you want to get the most damage out of it you should use a Quality Build (27 Strenght & 40 Dexterity), 2H your +15 Halberd and couple it with the Leo Ring (kill Smough first during O&S) for massive damage. Here's a good build. Use power within when invading only. It's not good for hosting. 2 hornet ring backstabs should be able to take most people out. Even if you land one backstab with the halberd and one with the rapier. That's why i chose pocket rapier.
