I have a bird fleshing machine that i made. it's basiclly a wooden box with a fiberglass clear top to view the wheel. it's pretty large and will handle turkeys with ease.I probably have that same flesher. I purchased it from Van Dykes 40 years ago. If one is a bird taxidermist, I'd say just buy a good one and be done with it rather than building one. The motor will stall out when getting too aggressive, rather than the brush grabbing the bird and destroying it. I've never had any issues with mine.Dakota IV Flesher and Parts.
