If you're looking for your first HOTAS just to dip your toes in, then I recommend the x52 pro. I paid $200 for mine and its been an absolute trooper. Since 3.18.2 I've had no issues using both in-game but as pf 3.21 the flight stick's inputs aren't registering. I've tried importing the control profiles for the HOTAS (which worked) in the past with no success in getting the stick to work. The X56 is great with one common issue/feature, there's a decent amount of center "wobble." it can be corrected for with dead-zones, or even a 3D-printed part and 4 springs, but it can be annoying. The throttle can be "stiff" but it's easily fixed by reducing some of the lube that comes applied from the factory.The quality feel of the HOTAS is excellent. When you want to go faster, you push your arm forward etc.. The throttle keeps its position, so if you want to keep going, you can let go of it. The only other two things that make the Warthog stick better better than the T16000m, is that it can be used with an extension and can be center mounted between your legs. Throttle: Good. Not amazing, but good. The VKB NXT is generally a better stick than the Warthog whilst costing $100 or so less depening on region.
