All restaurants are experiencing significant staff shortages which affects wait times, food quality, and service. If the Asticou Inn is experiencing any staff shortages it did not show. My room (No. 140) had a wonderful view over the property and the water. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The staff were friendly. Breakfast in the restaurant, while not inexpensive, was extremely good (I had cod hash with poached eggs).
